SUMMARY:Suffolk Red
DESCRIPTION:A little bit about Suffolk RED. Formed in late 2015\, Suffolk RED is organised by a collaboration of amateur radio and electronics enthusiasts in the Suffolk area of the UK. \nThe name RED stands for Radio and Electronics Development\, and the events are aimed at anyone with an interest in any aspect of electronics and radio engineering and operation. \nFormality is kept to a minimum – all organisers are volunteers and no club has a majority control in Suffolk RED. We do have a ‘committee’ structure\, with a chairman and steering group. \nWe are holding an outdoor antenna related evening so we are looking for people to come along and provide demos relating to Antennas! \nHopefully there will be – Measuring transmission/return loss of filters\, circulators\, aerials etc between 10MHz and 5GHz by Graham G4FSG. This is to be confirmed. \nYou are welcome to come along and set up portable for the evening and operate GB1FOX. – remember be happy for people to come chat to you and ask you about your rig etc. \nSteve 2E0TDN – Bring & Buy Stall – All items you wish to sell please ensure your name & callsign is clearly labeled on the item along with the desired price. At the end of the evening\, if your item hasn’t sold please collect it. We do not have storage facilities for unsold items.
